Brothers from az wanting to hunt colorado otc elk

Hey guys pretty new to this forum but have been reading post for a while me and my brother have been wanting to go to Colorado for otc elk hunts for years. Well we finally decided this year is a must we have never really been to Colorado besides one drive through was wanting to try and get some pointers on decent units to start researching we are not looking to kill monster elk just have a great time chase some bulls and hopefully come home with some meat in the freezer. We have a wall tent and wood stove we will be hunting out of and not really equipped to be backpacking way in.mostly just day hunts and get back to camp at night. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if anyone has any questions about az I would be more than happy to help. Thanks

Welcome. Coming from Az you may want to hunt west Co. I forget which unit Dunton is in but you might enjoy those mountains, I have. Delores Peak area to Dunton will have what you are looking for except it may have too many hunters. I haven't been there in years. If you like that area, I can get a little more exact and might know how to kill an elk there right under the other hunters noses.
