I hunted antelope unsuccessfully for the first time last year. First ever trip out west actually. Even though we didn't harvest I had a blast. I've been wanting to go back ever since we left, and today I bought my first ever pref point. Pretty stoked about it! It's the little things in life, ya know?

Lol. My plan is to get a few points to hopefully draw a decent unit. Not necessarily looking for a trophy unit, just one without the "*". Or at least not "poor" public access.

Not sure as yet. Need to wait until 2014 stats are posted, especially antelope. My 2 cousins from California have never hunted antelope before and have been buying point too...they also have 3.
Deer is another matter. I really want to hunt 90, and could have drawn this year. One of my cousins wants to hunt deer too and he has 3 points, so again, wait for stats as if we put in together we would have 6 1/2 averaged.

Well I finally jumped in to the WY game. I know, I know, just what everyone wanted to hear that's already putting in for different units...another guy getting in screwing up everyone's draw odds. Lol. I personally bought a point for elk and mule deer. I also bought both my older boys points for elk. They are 12 and 13 and for $10 that's a pretty nice deal. That way they can draw the most coveted tags when they're 73 years old. If we keep going they will have 60 points. Lol...might need that many?? All kidding aside, maybe for a graduation present or something in a few years is my plan.
So, I want to be the first person who's ever posted this question before we are even close to heading that way "not wanting anyone's honey hole" BUT could you please PM me gps coordinates to your honey holes 5 years from now? Don't want this years "honey hole" cause it may not still be a honey hole in 5-10 years from now. Lol.
