Congrats, looks like quite abit of point creep in most areas. I was hoping to draw 83 next year but with 4 points that looks doubtful.

Congrats on your 83 tag! My two buddies and I drew the same tag so we might see you out there. Good luck on your hunt and be safe!

Nice! That is a fun hunt you will get to look at a ton of antelope. Which doe rage did you draw?

Nice. I help a friend fill his doe tag in that area opening weekend. The hardest part about it is staying with in 1/2 mile of irrigated land.

28228The long and the short of it. Spent a day and a half scouting before the opener. Saw hundreds of goats each day. Opener covered a ton of ground, all public, and in 2.5 days never saw a goat that made you go “wow”! Talked with a bunch of other hunters and everyone is saying the same things, lots of average goats, 12” or so, but nothing much bigger than that.

Ended up shooting a goat with good hooks the second day of the season. Got checked by a game warden who said the numbers are About half of what they were last year. Another group of hunters checked into the lodge we are staying at and after driving around, they also stated numbers are down from previous years they were here.

Was also able to harvest a doe tonight. All in all and excellent first time experiencing antelope hunting in Wyoming. Definitely coming back!
