Google is your friend. I found blooming valley outfitters and bearpaw guiding. I would ask for references that have hunted with anyone you look into. Lots of bobcats in MN the last few years, lots. Limit is 5 still.

Just be very careful who you choose, bobcats are not easy to bag!! We go days and still don't get them. They put on many miles a night and snow has been crappy the last few years. A little different than a lion! Of course you can find kittens and females quite regular, but the big Tom's are harder to find.

I have googled and talked to Blooming valley and they are booked, I also left a message for Bearpaw and have gotten no response. I have tried a few others. I would be interested in a Lynx hunt in Canada if someone has good references. Manitoba or Ontario would be closest to wear I live. If anyone has good references I would be all ears!

WWW. Skinnercreekhunts.com is one that's on the big game houndsman forum. He has 100% success the last five years, some guys on the forum have hunted with him, it sounds like the real deal. It's in British Columbia also can get a wolf tag.

The bobcat population has really boomed through the Midwest. They are tough to hunt but they can be called in if you wanted to try on your own. This is a really big tom I called in while hunting close to my house in Nebraska. I know several local guys who have success regularly. There are some pretty good instructional videos on calling them as well if your interested.

I haven't tried it, but my primo's alpha dogg electronic caller has bobcat sounds. Just another option.

I would definitely try calling them in. I also have a Primos Alpha Dog. If you have seen a few of the instructional movies please pass on the names that you would recommend. Nice "Bob" Hill top, did it go over 30 Lbs.?

You can't beat the sound of the hounds on a bobcat. They are the hardest critter to catch with hounds, bears and lions are one thing but bobcats is a whole different ball game.

He weighed 38 pounds 2 days after the kill. I froze him as I couldn't get to my taxidermist right away. Taxidermist does a lot of cats and said he has only seen a few in that size class through the years.

Low percentage hunt but there is tons of public land in cat country for calling. Now that we finally have some snow and the hides are prime it would be worth going. Find an area with cat tracks and make some set ups. I bet there is very little pressure on called cats on MN public land. That'd be a true trophy, a DIY called in public land MN woods cat. Now I almost want to try it. Almost, since I'd have a hard time not hanging a few dozen snares and drinking coffee checking them.
