I've used mole skin but I've used it after the blister as started. I wear a new pair of boots well before I go out hunting and wear the same pair of socks ll be wearing to hunt in o break in the boots.

Duck tape or Athletic tape does the job !!!!! I tape mine up like a football player and hike all day without getting blisters.... I learned the hard way though.

x2 on the mole skin and athletic tape! In Afghanistan and Iraq we would tape our "known" hot-spots with A-tape if we had it. Mole skin works well after hot-spot has started as mentioned above (its thicker and less comfortable as a preventative measure). Utilizing a poly liner sock also works well in the right pair of boots.

x2 on the poly sock liner...and a good/great pair of socks with really good worn in pair of boots tied up tight. I bring along alot of good quality socks and have ruined some good liners, I thought they were good they cost enough but if I tape my feet I never get blisters anymore even without liners.

Sick.

I prevent blisters by wearing good boots, and lacing them tight.. I also try to change my socks at least once during the day. I find it beneficial to take my boots and socks off for a little while if I'm glassing.. Dry feets = no blisters.
