Thinking about trying this area for archery elk. Received maps yesterday and have talked to the game warden. Looking for some trail and road info on this area?? Seems like some long roads and hiking trails in there. Just hoping this area is remote enough for bivouac style. Any info or suggestions on road closures to would be good. Last thing, would there be any need for chains?
Thanks,
Matt

I can't help you much on the area but there is always a need for chains when you get into just about any back country here in the west. That is unless you can wait out a storm to where the roads are dry. It is better to have them and not use them than to need them and not have them.
