Big socal black bear

I have been getting TC pic's of this big boar passing through one of the canyons I'm watching. Hopefully he'll be around when season starts! What you guys think?

Block head, dimple in the forehead, no neck, short looking legs and even a slight hump on the shoulder, large front and looks like it has a belly close to the ground. I think Ikeepitcold hit the nail on the head. It looks like a very tiny bear and you should let us know where the canyon is so we can help cull this one out for you. .

Actually that does look like a nice one and I hope it's there for you come hunting season.

Good pictures, I love the color of that bear and he is large enough to be a good trophy. Good luck on getting to hunt him. I got my 2011 rug this month, same color as the bear in your pic.
