Big Bulls In Sleeper GMUs

Back when I was scouting for my muzzle loader elk tag in Colorado's unit 61 I actually saw a couple of bigger bulls across the road in unit 62. That year it took a resident 15 points to draw the ml tag and 62 is a OTC unit.

Yes sir got the gun dialed in, just my son went to the game, then I went up to Casper for a few days. Headed back to CO in the am.

A lot of OTC units hold truly giant elk. The problem is that easy to draw and OTC unit have a lower age class of bulls. Some elk are just better at avoiding hunters.
