This bear was killed recently in PA. They allow no baiting. They mostly do drives thru wood patches with lots of people. Impressive bear!

Im about 30 min from where it was shot here in Pa for Thanksgiving. No quartering allowed, guts out only and whole carcass has to go to the check station. Im hearing all kinda funny stories about how it got out of the woods.

Even small bears can be difficult to load up...it seems like their bones turn to jelly. I am not a bear hunter, but used to get quite a few road kills from the DNR because no one else wanted them. A tow truck would be just the ticket.
