I use 3 colors of burlap black and then 2 other colors of what ever the main colors are in your area. Are area is grass so I used 2 shades of brown. A kids shirt like the one I did was 60"x 5' of black and 2 pieces 60"x 8' of burlap one of each color. Cut the burlap into 10" to 18"strips then pull all the burlap stands out, which takes a lot of time. Then every few inches stitch a 10" piece of heavy sewing thread through the shirt and grab small random hand fulls maybe 10 stands of burlap and tie them on with the tread. it takes about 8 total actual hours to make one, but what the heck else does a guy have to do late at night in the off season. Just buy burlap from any on line retailer. That's awesome! Makes me really look forward to taking my son out some day. He's only 10 months old right now, and I have another one on the way. Won't know if it's a boy or girl until they come into the world. Go_deep, where did you get the burlap material to make the guillie suit? Might be something I can do in the future.
