Gentleman,

I have a Wyoming Bison tag for October. I have shoot a Hoyt Nitrum Turbo, 29" draw, 75#. I use FMJ 340 spine arrows with 125 grain field points on sight in. 505 grain arrow weight total. All your input is appreciated!

It sounds like your setup is plenty sufficient. I shot a buffalo about ten years ago with a lot lighter arrow and slower bow. Have a great hunt and let us know how you do. Good luck!

I'm shooting Solid Dangerous Games broad heads 175gr with a 26" fmj 400 with 75 gr brass inserts. Total weight 545 gr. I have a 28" draw and shoot Hoyt carbon at 60lbs. I have this set up for a Idaho moose. Which I know this is a plenty but in bow hunting, there is no such thing as overkill. I want penetration. I think your set up is perfectly fine. Good luck on your hunt! Post some pics after the hunt.

That seems like it will do just fine. Keep your shots broadside and in the vitals.

I had a bowhunter come to me asking me to set him up with a set of arrows for a bison hunt. I built him 700 grain arrows for his 70Lb bow. he killed a great bull and passed through both sides at 30 yards. Shot placement above all.

Rage 2 blade?

I'd want something with 2 blades, perhaps with 2 bleeder blades, for max penetration.
