Thinking this is a mid size bear maybe a boar but not sure. Definitely not a monster but a ok bear and i know where it is for opening morning.

Looks to be a mid-size bear, not real long from nose to tail. Broader forearms , so likely a boar. Don't know what bear size is in your territory, but here in Wisconsin that bear would be in trouble on opening day! Our average bear taken during the fall season will be around 150 pounds. Most bear hunters oveestimate the size of the animal due to excitement, close proximity to the bear, and a bears long hair. Good luck!!!

Looks mid size to me. Maybe a bit young. Still wouldn’t pass on it if that’s your opening day option especially in Nv.

47497Big Ca bears like this one are garbage bears. Don’t bother with the meat to be honest. You can grind them up and mix with pork or beef fat and the meat still tastes off to me. Not worth the effort. Makes great dog food though.
