Ouch! I have always worried about this happening, but where I hunt it isn't too rocky. That's a bad deal for sure. Hopefully you were able to find something to take its place and keep going!

Few years back I was packing out a bull in the middle of the night. Had my bow in my hand and stumbled on a rock. Nothing I could do with all that weight on my back. Bow went down hard and cratered the bottom cam. Luckily my hunt was done but just goes to show it could happen even with the bow in your hand. Seeing how I fell forward, having the bow on my pack on my back would have saved it.

That stinks man! I feel your pain the limbs on my Pse vendetta are cracked again. This is the second time. The first time was under warranty, not sure what will happen this time.

Man, that really sucks about the bow.
A few years ago, I was making my way down a boulder slide, with my bow on my back. I slipped, and started falling. I was going to fall on my back, so I rotated and landed on my face instead. Bow saved, face no more ugly than it already was.

Pse limbs don't usually crack. Is the shop pressing them wrong? Pse limbs rarely crack or splinter at all, twice is pretty much only common when someone isn't using a approved press or pressing them wrong.

And they should be under warranty, but something isn't adding up imo.

Yeah I think it may have had something to do with a bow press. The first time was right after I had new strings put on! But this time i just noticed it after shooting one day. The shop I use is trying to get it fixed under warranty again. I have my fingers crossed.
