Been a while for the A's, eh Doc?

I cam just a general baseball fan, but have enjoyed the season this year. Been focused on the NFL lately. Good luck to your A's!

Quite the opposite for me. I'm a hockey fan and I'm bored! I'd watch baseball, but I save all my patience for hunting.

Dodgers. Yeah, that's right, I'm rooting for the team that just spent $270 million to not make the playoffs (unless the Cards somehow manage to pee down their leg). Wife has me on suicide watch.

Anybody that beats the Yankees! I'm hoping the O's win the AL East. Glad to see the A's in the fight still to win their division. Sad to see the Rangers in the position they're in but they just can't close the deal. These next 2 days will be interesting

2012 A.L. West Division Champs. Yeah that's right! I have been an A's fan for as long as I can remember. I think this is even a better story than 2006. Hey Dr, who's your favorite Athletic of all time. Careful not to date yourself.

Ha I'm young, my favorites were the smash bros, Giambi and McGwire. I know I know steroid era but those were my first memories of the Athletics. I have some home run balls signed by both of them from batting practice someplace. My mom is a giants fan and my dad a dodgers fan, when I was young, we would go down to the bay and catch an Oakland game and giants game a weekend quite a bit. AL WEST BABY!! Dream come true! I cannot believe it. Matt stairs is up there as well on favorite players. Ricky Henderson....he was a staple for them for a while, I have too many favorites.

Guess who going to see game 3 on Tuesday, THIS GUY!

Who's your favorites, please make me feel young.

Ricky Henderson has always been my favorite. I used to play alot of ball growing up and I was never the fastest guy on the team. So it was easy for me to like the best base runner in history. Like you, my mom is a die hard Giants fan (poor girl) and my dad has been an A's fan his whole life so I guess I followed the smart one in the family.

I know it... We should have won BOTH of those games, errors and bad decisions cost us these games. We have home field advantage now, those umps reminded me of yanks umps, home umping comes with home field advantage to those guys! We have a long road ahead of us...

That was a pretty good finish last night Drhorsepower. That surly was a good game for an A's fan. My wife is from Michigan so last night was not a happy night for her though :). I like the panorama shot you too. Nice!

Sounded like a pretty cool game last night. I didn't get to watch because me and my buddy were lucky enough to kill a couple bucks yesterday evening. Stayed up skinning and quartering until midnight. Just a crazy night all around but I guess I shouldn't complain. Have fun at the game tonight Dr. GO A's!!!

Well we didn't make it but it was still one hell of a season. The only thing I'm torn over is who to root for from here on out. I am American League guy to the bone but the only two left are the Tigers and Yanks. I guess I'll be a Detroit fan for the rest of the year!
