Hope my bow is intact. Just watched as they loaded my case on the plane to CO. It fell off the trailer and bounced twice on the runway. Guess I better sight it in when I get to CO. I packed it tight with clothes to help with mistreatment by the airlines. Guess I'll see when I get there. At least I know it's on the plane.

That sounds familiar. If one of the baggage gorillas can do it they will somehow manage to drop your bow or rifle case.

The bow and sights should be OK as long as it is packed to the point that it won't move around inside of the case. But in any case you should shoot a few arrows at a target once you reach your hunting area just to make sure that everything is still tight and the sights are still on.

Makes your blood boil when they do this! But they know you can't do anything! They tossed my rifle case into a cart and missed when it hit the concrete. Thanks to Pelican it was okay

Yea everything seems ok from a visual standpoint. I marked my sights for this reason with a white marker. I will shoot a few Saturday or Sunday before I head in for final week of archery. Good luck to all.

What kind of case do you have for your bow? Just curious.

I work for the SAFD full time but got a side gig w one of the major airlines as one of those "baggage gorillas." I do it to cover my travel for my adventures. We do try n take care of the baggage; especially firearms or other things in large cases, when loading and unloading the aircraft but as in everything there are the 10%. I apologize for any mishandling of ur stuff n I do try to take care of everything as if it was my own and try to pass that on to other employees.
