I will get up some photos when I get caught up at work. Just wanted to say what a great hunting experience I had. I had no idea just how many antelope there are. Me and my buddy filled 7 of 8 tags for a total of 28 hoofs and could of filled them all but I held out for a better mule deer and did not cut out the tag.
I was informed my antelope buck could make Boone and Crockett.
My buddy killed a very nice Mule deer with 22 inch inside spread.

Nice bucks!! Just my thoughts but when taking pics don't be right behind the head and antlers.
Hope you enjoyed our state enough to come back.

On a side note the onXmaps is worth every penny. While on a small area of BLM. I was headed back to the vehicle. I had picked up a few items of trash along the way. When I got close to the road a truck was waiting there. The guy said I was on private. I pulled up the map on my phone and I was clearly on BLM. The guy said that was his pasture. I said if you are sure I will not come back. We talked for a while and he ended up giving me written consent to hunt his property.

Little thing learned about antelope. I do not think they will jump a fence.
Another thing learned antelope running at full speed 3 feet in front of you. Sounds like passing a road sign with you window down at about 70 MPH. When there is about 45 of them you need to pull your underwear out of your crack afterwards.

One other detail I learned. From watching some other hunters. You can not chase down antelope on high ground no matter how hard you try. They will just run until they reach private ground.
I figure this is why you end up seeing most of the animals on private land after a couple days.
