Arizona points question

I called last week and paid over the phone $3 to get a book sent to me on Arizona elk info from the fish and game as this will be my first year applying I wanted a hard copy instead of just reading online. I recieved the book which is really cheap newspaper type book and very small I was expecting it to be like other states with more info. No big deal so my question is do I have to apply every year to keep my point I earn this year? Will I loose them if I do not apply next year? I've only applied california Nevada and Utah but I heard some states it's good as long as you apply again within 5 years?

They sent you the Elk app book, not the regs. Download the main regs/Deer/Sheep book.

Time frame for points is 5 years in AZ.

In Nevada you will loose your points if you don't apply for 2 consecutive years.

If you have a loyalty point you will only loose it if you don't apply and the only way to get it back is to apply five years in a row.

I decided to open my options up so I applied for Arizona elk point I will put in for the deer point as well when it becomes available. I already started couple years ago building California and Nevada points now in debating playing the game in another state. Utah or oregan.
