Area 94 cow tag help

Hello,
I drew area 94 for cow/calf tag this year and was looking for some information on the area. I will be out a little ahead of opening day, but was wondering whats in the Big Piney area for fuel, food, ice and such. Is there a processing area nearby? There will be 2 of us hunting and with any luck we will have to deal with some meat. We plan on camping but is there lodging near by? any help at all would be great.

The Midway Mall between Big Piney and Marbleton is kindof the one stop shop. They are pretty much the same town if that helps in your search at all. Most people just call them both Big Piney I think. There is a Loaf and Jug and an Exxon for gas and ice also. The mexican place isn't too bad I think anyway. Depending on which way you go LaBarge has an ok little cafe and Pinedale has some more choices. I don't know of the processing guys there, we usually went into Pinedale for that, but that's been a few years. We didn't eat out much living there because I was a broke just out of college guy, sorry about that. My grandparents have been regulars at Strangler's for like 40 years in Pinedale, so I have to point you there a little bit, lol. There are a couple hotels there, but they do kindof fill up for hunting season, so you might have to make reservations. Then you get to town and wonder why in the heck you would need reservations here, but you do. Well good luck.

thanks for the help. that's the stuff i was looking for. When you drop off your elk in Pinedale it a pretty quick turn around?

I don't remember, sorry about that. I just had a holy buckets I'm old moment. I didn't realize that its been about 12 years since those days. :) I think most places do try and get the out of towners in sooner because they are leaving town, so hopefully it would be fast, but I am not sure. I also meant Wrangler, was thinking Strangler, but meant Wrangler restaurant. Filter must have come off my fingers again dang it.
