Hey everyone my dad was lucky enough to draw a 90 deer tag. Ill be doing plenty of scouting trips for him since he lives in north dakota, and hopefully get some nice deer located before season. He is a capable archer and i guess beings it is such a tough tag to draw I would take any information someone wanted to give. Feel free to PM and thanks in advance.

The good thing about area 90 is you can hunt the deer at night since they glow in the dark from drinking water in the old uranium mines.

Ive just heard so many different things on this unit, some guys are saying your better off hunting a general unit in wyoming while others are saying I'd quit my job if i drew that tag HA! I plan to put boots on the ground in july out there see for myself, but a little insight is helpful.

Congrats on the tag, best of luck to your dad! Curious how the scouting went. Did you see any big boys?
I wouldn't pass a 160 deer in 90. There are some big boys out there, but same can be said of any Wyoming general unit. 90 is a good solid fun hunt for 130-160 deer. A few bigger are taken, but not everyone can count on it...good luck! Post pics when you get a big one.
