Great bull, and glad it was a good hunt! It looks totally crazy to see that scenery behind a down bull. The only place I have ever hunted elk is in the southwest corner of Colorado, I think I may need to branch out more!

I put her in for hard draws and the lucky girl seems to always get them, it was 2-3% draw odds.... give it a try. Thanks everyone

Been trying to draw 100 for years with no luck. Finally a couple of years ago used all my points for another area. At my age will probably never get to hunt there. Hunted antelope there and saw some great bulls about 15 years ago and wanted to get that tag!

Who gives a flying fuk rookie ?
Oh Im sorry I dont post all the time like you do. Just trying to state the fact its a great elk and people are idiots for thinking they know what the score is. But I see theres more idiots out there like yourself who know it all. I also would like to hear more of how a 350" bull gets 200" from width and main beams. 65" beams and 50" spread are extreme an that equals 180" so I guess unless your forgetting something else to go with that 200" rule of thumb.

My apology Jstady. That was meant for a different post on here that I wont mention as to not piss anybody else off. Too much Jack and too late at night. I rarely get on the Forum, just been a member for awhile I guess. Now the idiot thing... Come on.

I hunted Unit 100 this year with my wife and took a nice 7x7 bull. Couldn't get into the unit opening day or the day before because of snow, but ultimately we had a great time when it dried out. Only problem was there had been a lot of snow machine traffic out there before we could get in and the elk were hiding out the first few days. We didn't see the numbers of elk that you did, but it is a great unit for DIY hunting. Congratulations on taking a great bull. Hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
