...I'm not...lol [emoji23]

Between the side of town known as 'pace of life' and 'procrastination' lies a place called 'oh darn'; I'm stuck in slow traffic in that district...[emoji12]

Plan is to head to WY, in now *deep breath* 5 weeks, to chase speed goats. Stepped on the scale yesterday; looks like I partook of one too many korn dogs at the state fair, county fair, church festival, ( you get the idea) this summer...[emoji54]

On a positive note, my chrono that stopped working last fall (but still under warranty-I think for another 5 days hahaha-cut that a little close, eh?) came back in the mail this week; all shiny and working again after I finally sent it in for service a couple of week ago.

So, I've started a to do list:

-roll those loads for the .280
-range time
-cut back on treats/watch the cals closer
-exercise
-exercise

A lot can get done in 5 weeks, right? [emoji38]

Good luck! Time will be here before you know it.

Season opens here in 1 week, and my first trip west for this year is in 3 weeks. I've got a list together and done some light food prep and packing already.

I've lost about 30 pounds, need to lose some more still. I also need to do some more shooting between now and then.

Thanks guys-and best wishes to everyone working behind the scenes for final hunt prep during 'crunch time'! [emoji38]

I made a big fitness push starting about 6 yrs ago; losing nearly 80# in the process. Was mostly eating too much and the wrong things. I need to lose 10# to get back to where I like to be. I just need to avoid the extra treats and make sure I do my run and I should get there.

Load/prep & shooting practice is the other area needing time. Fortunately, I still have a decent amount of vacation hrs left that I can use to hit the range during the week while the kids are in school and things are less hectic.

I scouted my unit a month ago while on a family camping trip and got a rough game plan of where to be-so that part is done.

I head to Wyoming in a little more then 30 days. It has been a total circus around the farm. We have 20 goats that will start kidding the 25th of this month and should finish around the 12th. So needless to say haven?t worked out as hard as last year so I will be sucking wind. On a positive note I do have my rounds reloaded and I know where all my gear is.
Good luck to all and safe travels

17 days or 7 work days for me before leaving for a Wyoming antelope trip. I just finished with the last of the ammunition prep. I have everything ready, just have to pack my clothes and box my gear. Truck has fresh oil, and all I can do now is wait.
