Was up at sportsman's warehouse yesterday to pick up a new pack. While I was there I was cutting through the footwear section and saw the Under Armor Valsetz hiking boots. They were light as a feather and comfortable as hell for about 100 bucks. I was looking at the Under Armor trail running shoes and they actually have the same sole. I wore them around the store for a bit and couldn't believe how comfortable they were, so I bought them. I've been needing new boots anyway and decided to try these out. These are definitely summer/warm weather boots and they are not waterproof however I think if you sprayed them real good with a waterproofing right before a hunt they should hold up well to some moisture.
