Hey jarheadhunter how are you liking that Shockwave? From the look of it my guess is you like it alot! We tried to go out yesterday but when I got up it was raining so I went back to bed. I'm glad we decided to stay home because it ended up raining all day. Congrats on all the dogs!

The shockwave was my buddies that was in the last pic. I used it a little that day and liked it. I have a CS24 and I don't think that I like it anymore then the CS24 either one is great. The CS24 is a lot louder, but I think clarity might go to the Shockwave. I have killed piles of coyotes with my CS24 and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

It's funny you say that. I have a Foxpro FX3 and have also killed a ton of coyotes over it. Recently my dad and I have been talking about getting a Shockwave. I don't know if they are worth the money but right now I have the Cabela's points for about 75% of the cost and dad said he would pay the balance. It's only money right? Lol

Yup only money. I have mouth calls that cost me $7 that I have killed a ton of coyotes with as well. I just like the e caller as I think it takes the coyotes attention away from you and you can get away with more movement.

Jar head. Have you ever tried calling Mt Lions?

No hard to get tags here. I usually don't call areas that have many cats as I am out in the sage. If I could get a tag I would for sure. I have buddies in AZ that have called them in while coyote hunting there.

Cool thanks. I want to try this winter calling cats. We get two tags a year in Nv for $25 each.

Yeah sounds like AZ. I know a resident can buy a lion tag for like $5-15 I can't remember just know it was cheap. I have called in bobcats. I would just say be very careful and spend a lot of time on your stands.

We called in a lion about three years ago using mouth calls. It was funny. The cat showed up about 30 seconds into the set but hung up on a fence line about 300yds out and wouldn't come any closer. It just sat there and stared at us.
