anyone hunt d 13? need some hints on where to go

There are some areas right off the 5 North of Castaic that look real good. Never spent any time up there, so I don't know the statuses or season dates but for sure some good looking country! Deer trails all over some of the canyons... Good luck!

I've yet to hunt D13 yet or backpack there yet. The Chumash Wilderness and Sespe Wilderness look like some big chunks to explore though. Best wishes to you Deerhunter 72.

It's not hunting but I've had good success Bass fishing in Castaic Lake just east of your zone in D13 years back that Graylight mentions. I caught more than a few there between 7-9 pounds. Not sure how the fishing is now but back in the day it held some giant monster bass there.
