anyone backpack hunting D7 2015?

This will be my first back pack hunting experience high up in the sierras of Madera county and to top it off my first time with a bow. I've hunted up there several times around beasore and most of sky ranch with now success and only seen does. I'm looking for a partner to hunt with a little more familiar with the area. I dont really want to go solo but I will if that's what it comes down to. I'm in decent shape and improving it continuously

Hey just joined and am a huge backcountry fishermen and hunter. I to don't really have a hunting partner and was curious if you found one. I've scouted both d7 and d8. Im still undecided which one I'm hunting. I train hard all year and plan to get high and hike at least 10 miles for a couple spots I've got picked out. If I end up hurting d7 I'll be going out of east side west of Bishop.
