Any 264wm believers out there?

I have a Mod. 700 Rem. in .264 Win Mag. I would use it on anything in North America. Very accurate. Shines as an antelope round. I have killed deer with it and wouldn't hesitate to use it for elk. I do have a .300 Win Mag I use mainly for elk. Barrel life got a bad rap. I think someone was burning maxed out loads and lots of them. I don't see any reason it shouldn't last as long as any of the other mags with hunting loads and no more than a hunter shoots, last a lifetime. I would take it over a 7mm mag.

Nice gun, I love my .264 wm. I shoot nolser 130 AB in mine. Great gun.

Did some barrel break in and a bit of ladder testing 3320 fps out of 140 Berger vld. Slight extractor marks, but it's 110+ degrees out. Everything was warm. 2 shots, cool barrel. Repeat. We threw in the towel.
