Plus the $185 conservation stamp to push it to $510. I was doing quick math off the top of my head without looking back at the actual numbers on the link

I think your spot on. Not sure if it will change the odds much for deer or lopes in the regular but may have more effect on the special. I'm glad I got both my deer and lope tags this year.
I wouldn't expect too many people to quit applying, but a bunch may drop out of the special and go in to the regular draw. I guess we shall see.

$185 is the lifetime conservation stamp. Most people would be better off buying the $15.50 stamp each year.

A regular pronghorn buck tag should be $326 + $15 app fee + $15.50 conservation stamp = $356.50

A special pronghorn buck tag should be $614 + $15 app fee + $15.50 conservation stamp = $644.50

Ok thanks for clearing that up. I thought the numbers were seeming a little steep, $350ish is much more reasonable. Looking forward to my first rifle antelope hunt next year. Been trying archery here in Idaho a couple times but haven't had much luck

Still too much for my wallet. Too bad i was wanting to do a group antelope hunt in the next couple of years with my kids.
Just load up on doe tags, there still cheap, and as long as kids are hunting, they don't care what their chasing.

I may be misinterpreting or misunderstanding the data, but in your estimation, zone 9 look ok?
Unit 9 would be a good choice. I work in and around that unit, as along as your an active hunter, you'll fill tags.

It is a given cost is going to increase. Just hope I can manage to scrape up enough to buy a tag once in a while. The good news is hunting is in high demand. This should provide good management to insure hunting into the future for our children.

I would love to take my son on a Wyoming hunting trip while he is still under youth tag. Problem is with school and football it can never happen due to the distance.
