This year I plan to use a 6.5x47 and 130 JLK.

My go to caliber (and gun) is my 25-06 Ruger M77 that I've shot since 1975. I have used it with my own developed loads (Sierra 117 BT Game Kings ) to take over 50 antelope and at least 50 deer. It now is topped with a Leupold VXIII 4 x 14 with Leupold's custom ballistic turret. Hard to beat this combination.

6-284, 6.5x47 Lapua, 6.5-284, 284 Win, 7 SAUM, 7 WSM, 6.5 Leopard, 7mm Rem Mag Imp, 7mm Dakota, and a few others

Wanting a Sako in .300 WSM myself...

Shoots fantastic. Right now I'm shooting Barnes 180 grain TSX. Obviously this setup is not necessary for antelope, but throughout my season for antelope, deer, and elk I just grab that rifle and go . . . If I wasn't married this rifle would probably be next to me in bed.

I use a Browning Stainless Stalker in 7mm. My scope is a Leupold VX7 4.5 x 18 x 56 fits close to the barrel and my bullet is an HSM 168 Berger. Works really well with 4 5/8 inch group at 600yds and paper is all I shoot at that range.

Winchester model 70 super grade 270 win with hand loaded 150 gr Partitions and a 4.5 x 14 Leupold. Or a 270 Weatherby with 150 gr Partitions. Love the 270's!!!
