I can't believe it but I drew a antelope region 7 tag. Any advice on what to expect as far as trophy potential would be greatly appreciated. I know Montana isn't known for its monster lopers but I'm not sure what to expect in this area of the state. I've spent a lot of time in Southwestern Montana but not much in the Southeastern part of the state. Any tips on areas to start looking would be great as well. I have a Wyoming antelope buck and doe tag as well so it looks like October is going to be spent chasing lopers!!! Feel free to PM me. Thank you for any help! Good luck to all this fall!

I've driven that stretch from Belle Fourche through Broadus on to Lame Deer many times, and have hunted sage grouse between Broadus and Powderville. Always saw lots of antelope along the highway, especially closer to Belle Fourche. There are plenty of tanks along the south side of the highway and quite a few have blinds on them. Plenty of BLM out there and some good sized BMA's as well. You'll probably base your decision on where to hunt more on accommodations than anything else, pretty sparsely inhabited country.

I'll be there in the second week of Sept. Going after lopers with my bow.

I'd greatly appreciate any info. Y'all are willing to share.
