The day has finally come! Leaving today to meet up with Scott for my buck Antelope hunt. Took 7 years for me to draw so needless to say I'm excited.

Wish us luck and we will keep this thread updated.

Hey guys help me out. What would be a shooter out of these? I passed some great goats so far and I had to fight off Scotts itchy trigger finger on these bucks. He's about to ring my neck! Lol
we call this one the goofy buck.

With one antelope hunt under my belt, I am hardly an expert....But, they are as good as the one I shot. They may be short on length, but all have their attributes. That unicorn buck is a bit different. Take all the time you got.

After taking that long to draw a tag, I personally would keep looking! The only one that would have tempted me is the droopy horned one. I'm certainly no pronghorn expert though. The only person you have to impress is yourself so take one you like.

Good luck!

If you dont want to shoot dont shoot. The first one is heavy but doesnt hook over much and I dont think he is as tall as he looks and prongs are decent but not huge. Of the 3 I would shoot him. #2 is a good buck but not great. #3 is interesting for sure but hard to tell much else about him or how old he might be. Take your time, you will know when you find the right 1! Good Luck!!!!

I agree with MM. Buck #1 is the best of the three and could be pushing the high 70's if he's as heavy as he looks in the pic. Everyone has that friend that tries to con you into shooting a buck that you don't have that "gut" feeling about. When you find one big enough, you'll know right away. Stay persistent and it will pay off in the long run.

As long as there isn't too much hunting pressure you should be able to find these bucks again if you don't find a better one.
Good luck.

off to a great start it looks like. when you spot one that doesn't make you hesitate... that the one. looks like you've found some solid back up ones when your last few days arrive.
