That was very cool How sweet would it be to hunt sheep every like that? I bet it really takes some trial and error to figure out back pack hunting in those temps, but it would be amazing to try!

Would have loved to have done this back when I was young, just too damn old now. Back when I was young, we didn't have all the lightweight great hunting gear. a lot was military surplus and heavy as hell. I remember back in the late 50's/early 60's when the Kelty pack first came out, it was light and strong, but nothing like today's stuff.

You would have to have a dedicated hunting partner to keep you motivated. I would have given up on day 3 on a solo trip.
