There are a bunch more anterless tags in Utah that will be available on 9/6 at 8 am.
It was decided during the Wildlife Board meeting to let these out because of the drought conditions. They are for anterless elk and antelope.
Also there were some additional bison tags let out for the Henry Mountain herd hunts. There will be some either sex tags but most of them will be cow tags. So if you put in for one of those hunts all is not lost yet. They also opened a new hunt for cows only in January, this hunt can and quite possibly will be a extremely difficult hunt even if you have horses, snow machines, and a helicopter. They will be calling unsuccessful applicants for these tags. I'm not sure how they are going to handle the new hunt in January.
