Does anyone use the 8mm-06?

I have a Cooper rifle in 8mm-06. I like it. I hope to break it in on either bear or moose pretty soon. I used a 35 Whelen for some years and shot several nice bull moose with it. I'm sure the 8mm-06 will be great for moose.

I aerial scouted last evening and counted around 50 bears (all but 3 were black) and 2 bull moose, so I may break it in on a bear!

338-06 is better choice if wanting a caliber on a 06 case, better bullet selection.

I must have been up late or off my meds on that last post of mine....my rifle is a 338-06, love it. It's a fine and accurate rifle!
