76 1st rifle success?

Did anyone hunt 76 this week? I am thinking of putting in for it next year and was curious how guys did this year and what elevation they saw bulls.

That unit has a lot of elk. Your neck will hurt from looking up all of the time. In the summer, they spend a lot of time above timberline. Easy to find.

During the archery season they are in the back country, near the roads and everywhere in between. Once the snow flies, they will drop to low country or over the next pass.

Its going to be a while before most of us get a chance to hunt this unit (16 points for NR ML) (11 Points for NR AR) ELK.

I guess i'll just keep dreaming! lol
