JFI, this months Eastman's Magazine has a great article on Elk hunting bullets and noticed the Partitions had the highest penetration, with the E-tips close behind. Largest wound channel was by the Rem Cor-locks!!

My bad, I'm in the process of making recipes for my buddies remmy 700. I have a bunch of the old nosler 100 grain Solid Base bullets and just recently purchased some E-tips at a great price, so gonna be playing with them for a bit.
That's all I used to shoot was the 100 gr. solid base boattail bullets in the 6mm, 280 , and 30-06. They are a great bullet. Yeah check SPS out, they sell blemished bullets and over-runs for great prices! There are 90 gr. E-tips on there for sale right now! I really like the way the E-tip has performed in my son's 6mm. It sure has killed everything he has shot with authority.
Good luck on the load work.
