57 Access

Guys,
has anyone hunted unit 57 here in Oregon? been looking at its access and it looks bleak. I was hoping another member here might have been in the area and could help out how the access really is? ive heard about the permits and specified camping spots but just trying to get a better idea of what its like.

I've found that when asking question about a specific unit in a state that your replies will be very limited.

I've been in that unit 7 of the last 9 years. There are no special permits or specified camping spots, Hancock stopped doing that stuff.
Access is a non issue, the issue is a lack of Elk.
