Just got back from 47. This was my third time there (hunted 2009 and 2013). Antelope numbers were much better than 2013, but still way below 2009. Trophy quality was worse than both previous years. Public land has always been full of 12 and 13 inch goats, but you saw some big ones on private in the past. This year, we really didn't see any big bucks, even on private land. Hope they keep the tag allocations down to let it continue to recover. The buck I shot was the biggest one we saw anywhere.

Eastman's - thanks for all the photo tips over the years. I think it finally came together for me in this one!

Nice buck; 47 looks especially awesome when you have a unit 46 tag!!! Just slow down on the road that divides the two units and any antelope within 2 miles in 46 starts running. While the one's in 47 (barely 100 yards off the road, mind you) just stand there and stare!!!

X2 it was the same way in our unit. They're a lot smarter than I thought.
