New to the forum and i am excited to join in on all the huntin talk for NV!

Were getting ready to head out on our Rifle Hunt in 231 we have done some scouting and lots of research, just wanted to see if anyone has any feedback, pointers, or past experience with this unit that they would like to share!

Thanks again and good look to everyone!

It's gonna be pretty warm out there for the opener. There are some really nice deer in this area you just have to find them.
The east side of Mt. Wilson might be a good place to start. There is a road that takes you up to the top by the radio towers and you
can glass forever from up there. Good luck, let us know how you do.

Hey Gr8bawana! Thanks for checking in, i havent hardly had any time to log into here and thank you again for the advice. The hunt went great, we saw some GREAT deer a few days before the opener , about 3 or 4 190"+ deer that really caught our eyes, but as luck would have it as soon as the opener came around the temperatures sky rocketed and the moon was out for what seemed like forever! so that made the hunt even tougher! Luckily on the 18th we decided to head up to where multiple people (including you) told us to go, which is the east side of mount wilson to where the road T's off at a cross in the ground and took that to the left where we were able to glass for days into beautiful deer country. Well as soon as we put our glasses up we spot what seems like a decent deer about 1000 yds away and we knew if his horns looked decent from there he was worth getting a closer look at. Well, we decide to start making deer.jpgour way towards him and get a better look at him he wasnt the biggest deer we had seen on this trip but he definitely had something about him that after a long tough hunt he would be the one we'd slap our tag. Definitely a deer we could be proud of.
