I suppose I should get out. I have 6' 6" glass fly rod that begging to be used. Believe it or not, we have some fantastic trout fishing here in the NE corner of Iowa. SW WI and SE MN too. Driftless area of hills and coulees along the upper Mississippi and Wisconsin river valleys. Many clear spring creeks with naturally reproducing, sustainable, trout populations. Been called the 'poor man's Montana' by some. I'll stop short of that. lol [emoji38]

Some ice out hungry trout my son has been catching the last few weeks. Ill be heading up to the high lakes in about 10 days to fish and check out the elk.
