My daughter got her first elk this week in southern Wyoming. Challenging hunt but she put this one down with a single 362 yard heart shot from her 7mm-08. She has had heart problems since birth and I never thought that I would have the opportunity to take her elk hunting. I felt extremely blessed watching her trudging through the mountains.

Kime was able to get her bull the 3rd day of first rifle. Had located 2 great bulls scouting = but when we bed this guy at 350 I knew she was not going to pass on him.

I told her he was a 5 point and after the shot (he fell back into the bed he was in) she said walking up I hope he has a couple little stickers to make him a 6.. Well he does so she keeps her record of only getting 6 point bulls intact.. Well kinda.

Fun hunt she killed him right at 13k' pack out was well what it is when ya kill at 13k..
