Had a bird skirt me with some hens on Saturday morning. He would respond to my calls but I never did see him. Clearley he had hens and was on a mission. There was no way to get out ahead of him due to a high flowing river. I think its the "Godzilla" bird I have been after for a coupe of years.....

Sunday, I came in on the other side of the river and valley and I heard 2 birds across the valley (Where I was at the day before....of course) out of reach, then I called in a hen to 5 yards, no gobbler in tow. Then at 10:00 it started down-pouring and I walked 2.5 miles back to my truck in the pouring down rain and lightning. Got to the truck at 11:45AM and I was wet in unspeakable places.....
