My 2021 general bull. Not my biggest by a long shot but a great hunt. I ended up shooting him at 35 yards while he was bugling after a whole archery season of not getting closer than 75 yards.

Had years like that. Struggle to get bulls in range all archery season and then shoot one with a rifle at archery distance. Congrats for getting it done and filling the freezer!

We’ve eaten our tags for the last 5 or 6 seaons .....because I wouldn’t let her shoot a dink! Then nearing season’s end when anything was fair game.....the elk seemed to have disappeared! We have cow tags this year....no holding out for the big one!
