2018 Sept. Moon Phase

Getting ready to pull the trigger on a guided archery elk hunt in Sept.2018. (Unit 59) Looks like the new moon is on Sept.9th, 1st Quarter (half full moon) is on Sept.16th and the full moon is Sept. 24th. Looks like the moon will be up Sept 16th thru Sept. 30. What week would you guys pick to hunt?

I have found that my best luck on elk tends to run in the middle of September regardless of moon phase.

Due to the peak of the rut being Sept 22/23. Peak being defined as the most cows being in estrus, fall equinox. That period of 15th till 23rd is always good for us.
