This years Utah hunt was good time my son and both had tags and both where notched. we where not seeing many deer until we hunted a burn area we set up on a ridge over looking several canyons we sat there for hours with only mustangs feeding as the sun was setting we spot a buck at 400 yrds across the canyon we watched him for a wile until decideing to take a shot now the buck was at 450 yards after flipping the safety on and off 5 times i finally got steady and let it rip with my son on the spotting scope i hear him he's down. With the sun going down took pics and packed it up on our way out my son spots two bucks and drops one now we have one in our packs and we dragged the second deer out. there not the big trophy buck this area can produce and we where hopping for but it was a good time .
