The South Dakota Spring season came to a close this past weekend. My family had 6 tags for the Hills and prairie. We were able to fill 5 of them, my second hills tag I actually never got a real chance to hunt due to work and finishing school. Helping my son and daughter to their first turkeys was a more rewarding experience than any of the birds that I shot. It was close having my youngest with me in the snow for a successful hunt though.
