I hunted with a New partner this year, it seems hard to find someone that wants to go on a Elk hunt ever year, But, I think that I finally found one, we are already planning on 2018, with being 65, I hope to have another 6 or 8 years to Elk hunt yet ?,
We had a great trip this year, got out there 4 days early so we could adjust to the altitude some, and do some scouting.
I was lucky and filled my tag with a decent 6 x 6 a hour after daylight the opening morning.
and my partner got a 5 x 5 the second day.
