2017 Cow Elk Hunt

Since my son and I did not draw tags this year from any of the states we apply in we have decided to do a cow elk hunt. If someone has information on private land hunt in any western state and be willing to share I would appreciate it. The limit we would pay would be about $1500.00 fully guided or would be willing to pay a trespass fee. I have list of left over tags from Colorado but need to apply for them by the 4th of July.

There will be lots of left over cow tags in Colorado for 2nd, 3rd and 4th season. All depends on the unit you want. Lots of outfitters do late cow hunts so just look up ones in the area you want to hunt.

A problem with outfitters is that this late in the game most of them are going to be booked for all the fall hunts.
