Thanks for the heads-up on Colo sheep. If the backdoor is correct I get to take my son sheep hunting this fall! I have a feeling mtn goat should be available any day. Good luck to everyone!

It's not showing anything on mine. I know I'm in the draw because they cashed my checks and my goat and sheep points are gone.
Any other NR showing the same thing?

NR here as well. Sheep, goat, and moose draws are in process so those species 4xx apps are removed from the products list mine included. I've only heard of applicants drawing a 5xx sheep code thus far so you are still the in the running for a mountain goat tag (and moose if you applied). The same thing will happen with your 4xx deer, elk, and antelope apps when that draw occurs...

Good luck!

I'm not sure why you guy's 4** APP codes aren't showing? They always show even when the draw is in process & if you draw you also will show a 5** code for that species without the APP after it. Wonder if other NR are seeing the same thing?

Maybe it's just a NR thing but I used to freak out like Alabama when my apps weren't showing using the backdoor method though i knew my mailed apps for S,G,M were received because my checks were always cashed. After a few years using the backdoor method and not drawing the tag but always getting my preference point and a refund I just accepted that this was just some anamolay (or not) in the CO NR draw process...

We should be able to see it next year with the online apps. No tag for me but I'm not surprised, I shot for the moon with my apps this year.

Sorry to hear that CC, maybe year 17!

That's a really tough draw - especially since it is a random draw with no preference points. Odds are usually around 0.5%.
Actually the unit I apply for has 3 tags (residents only) and a total of 302 applicants that listed it as 1st choice. Total applicants was 481. I personally don't understand why anyone would apply for anything but first choice as there is NO chance to draw anything other than 1st choice. 10% chance to draw is pretty good for a desert sheep tag, sure a lot better than the deer tag I apply for in Wyoming with max points as it is about what you quoted.

3 tags for 302 applicants is pretty close to 1% chance, if those are the #'s you were referencing with the 10% chance of draw.

Well, it's still a lot better than raffle odds. I checked the couple raffles I know of that offer a desert sheep tag and they were far worse than 1%. The 2016 AZ Big Game Super Raffle sold 6,506 tickets for 1 sheep tag. Pretty sure that's less than 1%.
