The unit I hunt got a lot of snow but game can and does migrate out...from what I can tell from the draw statistics all the worry about deer winterkill had about a zero effect on applications submitted in my unit.

Wow, that 201 first rifle NR tag!!!! 26 points, 1 guy out of 23 drew. Gonna be a long 50 year total wait, for the last guy in that point pool.

It looks like there were 4 NR elk tags in unit 201 and 1 of 23 drew with 26pp. If all stays the same next few years it should only take 6 years for the rest to draw. I think that is the way it should work.

So looking at the stats and seeing what is still remaining in each elk hunt code, that these tags will be available in the upcoming leftover sale in August or is there another draw after the initial draw?

Leftover draw will happen with deadline of July 4th to get apps in....July 17 Leftover draw results will get posted.....Aug1/2 leftover licenses that are still available will go on sale ( Aug 1 0900 in person and phone, Aug 2 midnight online)

Don't give up ! There are always surprises every year! Hard to every really say what will be on that leftover list when published. I'm already developing my plan B and C
