Credit cards have to be updated by Thursday, March 16 by 11:59 pm (Arizona time). Since this is the first year that AZGFD won't be calling successful applicants when charges on their credit cards don't go through, I am thinking they almost have to charge the credit cards the day after the update deadline, which would be Friday, March 17.
With that said, there probably is not a game department in the west that has had more problems with conducting a draws than AZ. Good thing they have great hunting to make up for it!
FYI: I have set up my credit card with text notification when it is charged for any amount over $1.00. It's great for times like these, and to detect fraud early.
